I’m Alex Wauters, software engineer focused on pragmatic distributed systems design, engineering leadership, and building robust, evolutionary architectures.

I work as software engineer at Aikido Security, on AI-driven code security and autofix suggestions. Before that, CTO at Customaite.ai (customs AI SaaS), where I scaled the platform to high-throughput workloads and coached the engineering team. Previously, I was a Staff Software Engineer at Uber, serving as the technical lead for Uber Freight’s marketplace carrier recommendation and booking teams.
